Aman-i-Khas is about 10 kilometres from the park and about eight kilometres from Sawai Madhopur railway station. Aman-i-Khas is well planned with state of art facilities and assures to make your vacation to Ranthambore a remarkable affair.

Accommodation in Aman-i-Khas, Ranthambore:

Located in an isolated place which has rich pickings at Aman-i-Khas; wild and home-grown from possible prize tiger sightings to crocodiles and antelopes, to sampling the camp’s delectable home-spun organic produce. Mesmerising nature can be admired behind delicate fine screen drapes in the comfort of one’s tent, or from exciting customized trips in open-top safari vehicles.

There are 10 air-conditioned tents, with rising canopies of six-meter above draped cotton partitions are designed and decorated in a magical Mughal interpreted style. The restrained hues of creamy canvas, swaddles of airy-white cotton, khaki cushions on toffee coloured contrast in soft grace against the grand colours of Rajasthan; and villagers nearby stand out in an enticing contrast on their traditionally coloured clothing. During the night, the camp is embraced by a brilliant constellation.

Entries to the tents are through a screened area that holds an armchair and a dining table. Centrally opened area, where there are three more sections for sleeping, bathing and dressing. The area of the bedroom is fitted with a king-size bed laid by twin writing desks. The place for bathing comprises of a shower, soaking tub and separate toilet and the place for dressing contains the cupboards along with hanging space and twin vanities. Cotton screen gives a complete privacy to the guests. Very less furniture brings in the image of the travelling camps of earlier times. All the tents are facilitated with air-conditioned along with ceiling fans and a cooler for drinks.

Dining inAman-i-Khas Ranthambore:                                                          

There are three extra tents, which brings into thirteen in all. The Dining Tent at Aman-i-Khas is well decorated with tables and chairs. Meals are served in various points throughout the grounds and dinner is mostly done around a thriving outdoor fire that serves as an important point during winters. At Aman-i-Khas you will get Indian cuisine as well as western dishes to savour your gastronomic zeal. Quality of the food items are guaranteed as almost all the vegetables and herbs are grown in the organic vegetable garden of the campus.

Other Facilities:

  • Lounge and Library: The Lounge tent placed near the dining tent. This place is tastefully arranged with banquettes, reading tables and chairs. The library is stuffed with coffee-table books on national park, tigers, history and tradition of Rajasthan etc. It also offers you well-known novels, magazines and board games. Local crafts are also available for purchase.
  • Spa Treatment: Spa has a separate tent, which, is further separated, into two treatment areas with two massage tables. The Spa treatment offers massage, scrubs and conventional henna art using local ingredients.
  • Fire Place: The Fireplace is placed at the upper level of the camp. This spot is even serves as a cosy lounge or dining area. This is an apt place to enjoy a cool drink in your hand during the day.Aman-i-Khas sets an example for lifestyle where the guests feel happy to partake the privilege.
